Accessibility statement
We want our website to be easy for everyone to use.
Our aim
Dementia Together Wirral wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people living with dementia, carers, and people who find it hard to see, hear, move or read.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done to help
- Large, clear text and plain, friendly words.
- Clear buttons that are easy to see and tap.
- You can move around the website using a keyboard.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, we keep movement on the page to a minimum.
- Our Help and support near you page prints clearly, so you can keep a paper copy.
You can make text bigger using your browser's zoom. On most computers, hold Ctrl (or Cmd on a Mac) and press the plus key.
What is not perfect yet
- Our online donation form is provided by Donorfy. We do not control how it is built, so parts of it may be harder to use with a keyboard or screen reader. If you have any trouble, call us and we will help.
- The maps on our venue pages come from Google Maps and may be hard to use with a keyboard or screen reader. The address is also written on each venue page.
- Some documents, such as PDFs, may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will give you the information in a way that suits you.
We are working to improve these where we can.
