Bringing the fun of our sessions to your home. A volunteer can bring you a box full of things to enjoy at home, then swap it for a new one.
What's in a box
Every box is different. Our volunteers change what goes in to suit the interests of the person receiving it.

Getting a box is simple
Activity boxes are free for our members. Get in touch and we'll arrange a box for you.
1. Get in touch
Ring us on 07935 797445 or email info@dementiatogetherwirral.org and ask for an activity box.
2. A volunteer brings it to you
One of our volunteers delivers the box to your home. Our box volunteers are DBS checked.
3. Swap it for a new one
When you have enjoyed your box, your volunteer collects it and brings you a different one, so there is always something new.

Our activity boxes let you enjoy dementia friendly activities in the comfort of your own home, whether or not you come along to our group activities. A box is something to enjoy on your own or with the person who cares for you.

Could you deliver activity boxes?
We are looking for volunteers to take boxes to Friends at home, collect them and swap them for a new one. It is flexible, and you can stop for a chat if the Friend would like one.

No. Activity boxes are free for our members.
Any of our Friends can ask for a box, whether or not you come to our sessions. If you are not sure, ring us for a chat.

Yes. West Kirby Library and Greasby Library each keep some of our activity boxes for people to borrow. Just ask at the library.
