Thank you to our volunteers

In June we celebrated National Volunteer Week, our chance to thank the volunteers who make everything we do possible and to recognise the difference they make.

We marked it with a volunteer celebration event, complete with an interactive drumming session and some very good food. Thank you again to every one of our volunteers.

More than 60 volunteers now keep our sessions running across the Wirral. Over two-thirds of them have personal experience of caring for someone with dementia, and that understanding is a large part of why our sessions feel the way they do.

We are always keen to welcome new volunteers and currently have opportunities to help in a variety of ways. We offer a full induction programme and ask for a minimum commitment of just two hours a month.
